Blue Bar is a Melbourne-based, New York Graffiti-inspired, walk-in, speakeasy bar located in the vibrant “Chapel St” precinct. Our innovative DJs spin all the latest and greatest Hip Hop and RnB tracks in a cosy space that will have your head bopping throughout the night. Our rooftop bar on level 2 is available for private functions.

In comparison to the other bars we visited that night, this place actually had bartenders to tend to all it's customers and space to have a dance without shoulder charging one of the usos or his Mrs. And the toilet space wasn't filled with suss dudes hanging out as if there was a beer garden in the toilets. DJ was all goods too.
This is a great bar full of potential. I had a great time there with fantastic DJ and Afrobeats, hip hop vibes, and a great customer service💯❤️
Pretty good bar, went here and grabbed a couple drinks earlier in the evening before it kicks off, service would good and drinks were top notch.Price was about what you would expect for a city bar, not a bad choice if in the area 👍
Been going here since before they had to shut during covid and I loved it then but even more so now as it’s the only bar on chapel st where women (at least myself and everyone I know) is able to get a drink after work and not feel stressed or scared as the staff are absolutely incredible at ensuring you feel comfortable and are quick to spot anyone whom might make someone uncomfortable and ensure all patrons feel safe in their venue alongside having amazing customer service from the entire team, killer drinks, bubbly social bartenders & music we all know and love couldn’t have better things to say! xx
New fit out looks really fresh. Troy, has made us feel welcome on three occasions now and changed our mind on blue bar. We will be back to see him
